Refile Affidavit

This function is meant to refile an affidavit which may be appropriate in the following situations: Parts of the affidavit was struck out or expunged and the affidavit has to be refiled without the struck out/expunged portions; or
The original filing of the affidavit had omitted certain pages of the affidavit and therefore has to be refiled.
(1) Case Information
Perform the following actions:
Sign in to eLitigation and select “Case File” in the side bar.
Enter the Case No of the OA containing the affidavit you wish to refile.
Click “Documents” in the top bar of the case file.
Select the affidavit from the list of documents, and click “Refile Affidavit” in the bottom bar.
Select the Filing Party.
Click “Next”.
(2) Forms
Fig 2. State when the Affidavit was sworn/affirmed, and the deponents of the Affidavit. If there were multiple deponents of the Affidavit, click on the “Add Deponent” to add new rows to the table.
Fig 3. Rename the document title, if needed, and click on the “Browse Files to Upload” button to upload a document. Click “Upload” when you are done.
The “Next” button should be enabled. Click on the “Next” button to proceed to Step 3: Admin Details.
(3) Admin Details
Fig 5. In Step 3: Admin Details, indicate any urgent processing, special request or waiver required. You can also opt to eServe the documents to another law firm.
(4) Submission
Fig 6. In Step 4: Submission, review all information and documents before submission. Upon acceptance / approval by Court, the documents will be sent to your eLitigation inbox.
Fig 1. The name of the relevant document will be displayed in this section. Click on the icon to upload the document. If you would like to attach supporting documents to the case, click “Add Document”.
Fig 4. Once uploaded, your document will be attached to the case file. If you wish to upload a new document, click on the icon and upload another document from your machine. You may also click on the icon to view the uploaded document.
