If you wish to create a custom order, click “create a custom order” and proceed to Fig 1e.
Fig 1c(i). Select the name of the party from the drop-down list and click “Create Order”.
Fig 1c(ii). Provide the necessary details and click “Create Order” when you are done.
Fig 1d. Click “Select order” to provide details of the Methods of Payment. Proceed to Fig 1d(i).
If you wish to create a custom order, click “create a custom order” and proceed to Fig 1e.
Fig 1d(i). Provide the necessary details and click “Create order” when you are done.
Fig 1e. Select the applicable category and provide details of your custom order in the text box. Click “Create order” when you are done.
Fig 2. Click “View your orders” to view a summary of your orders. Make amendments if necessary, and click “Close” when you are done.

Fig 3. Click on “Add Prayers”.
Fig 4. Provide the details of the reliefs sought in the textbox provided. If you would like to add another prayer, click on “Add Prayers” again.
Costs
Fig 5. Select the manner in which the costs of this summons the applying party is asking to be ordered.
If “Costs to be paid by” is selected, provide the name or party that will pay the costs.
If “Others” is selected, provide details of how the costs will be paid.
Supporting Documents
Fig 6. Click “Add Document” to add supporting documents to be annexed to the Summons.
Fig 6a. Enter the number of “Other document” that you wish to add, and click “Add”.
Affidavit Deponent
Fig 7. Click on “Add Deponent”. You will need to add at least 1 deponent in order to proceed with the rest of the application.
Fig 7a. Select the party that you wish to add as a deponent. Upon selection, the party’s details will be displayed. Click “Add” when you are done.
If the person that you wish to add as a deponent is not listed, select “Others” to add him/her to the deponent list (refer to Fig 7b).
Fig 7b. Provide the necessary details. Click “Add” when you are done.
Fig 8. Enter the details accordingly.
Maintenance
Fig 9. Select the parties that the Filing Party is applying interim maintenance for.
If “for himself / herself as the” is selected, proceed to Fig 9a.
If “for the following child(ren)” is selected, proceed to Fig 9b.
Fig 9a. Select the applicable option from the drop-down list.
Fig 9b. Select a document that the children’s information will be pulled from (i.e. “this Originating Application”, or “the First Ancillary Affidavit filed on”). This function is optional, and you may still enter the child(ren)’s details manually within the table in Fig 9b(i).
(Note: This data will automatically populate the table in Fig 9b(i).
The respective options will only be available if the document has already been filed in the case file, and if those documents have had children’s information filled in.
If multiple First Ancillary Affidavits (FAA) have been filed in the case file, you may specify the appropriate FAA via the Filing Party of the FAA, and its filing date/time.)
Fig 9b(i). Click “Add Child Details” to add the details of a child to this table, and proceed to Fig 11b(ii). If a document was used to auto-fill this table (as described in Fig 9b), the table will already be filled with the children’s details. You may add more children, or edit the details of the children already shown.
Fig 9b(ii). Provide the details of the children. Click “Add” when you are done to include it in the table in Fig 9b(i). The details to be provided are as follows:
• NRIC/FIN/Passport Number
• Name
• Gender
• Date of Birth
• Age
• Any health condition or disability which affect the child’s living expenses or care arrangements?
• Is the child protected by an existing Personal Protection Order?
• Are there existing Youth Court order(s) or ongoing Youth Court proceedings?
• Is there an existing voluntary arrangement with the Child Protection Services under the Ministry of Social and Family Development?
• Is there an existing court order for this child’s maintenance?
• Is there an existing court order for this child’s living and contact arrangements?
• Are there other court orders such as adoption orders or orders under the Mental Capacity Act 2008?
Fig 10. Click on the checkbox if the Filing Party is not applying for children maintenance, but would like to set out the expenses of the children.
· If this option is selected, proceed to Fig 10a.

Fig 12a(i). Provide the details of the Filing Party’s current employment.
Fig 12a(ii). State the nature of employment, including the working hours of the Filing Party.
Fig 12a(iii). Declare if the Filing Party holds more than 1 job. If so, click “Add Job Details” to provide the details of any additional jobs.
If the Filing Party does not hold any additional job, skip ahead to Fig 12a(v).
Fig 12a(iv). Provide the details of the Filing Party’s additional job. Click “Add” when you are done.
Fig 12a(v). State if the Filing Party is a director, partner, or sole proprietor of any company. If so, click “Add Company Details” to add the details of any such companies, and proceed to Fig 12a(vi).
If the Filing Party does not hold any directorship, partnership, or sole proprietorship, skip ahead to Fig 12a(vii).
Fig 12a(vi). Provide the details of the company that the Filing Party holds the directorship, partnership, or sole proprietorship for. Click “Add” when you are done.
Fig 12a(vii). Provide any additional information about the Filing Party’s employment.

Fig 12b(vi). State if the Filing Party is a director, partner, or sole proprietor of any company. If so, click “Add Company Details” to add the details of any such companies, and proceed to Fig 12b(vii).
If the Filing Party does not hold any directorship, partnership, or sole proprietorship, skip ahead to Fig 12b(viii).
Fig 12b(vii). Provide the details of the company that the Filing Party holds the directorship, partnership, or sole proprietorship for. Click “Add” when you are done.
Fig 12b(viii). Provide any additional information about the Filing Party’s employment / lack of employment.

If not, skip ahead to New Maintenance: Income and Family Expenses (Fig 13)
Fig 12c(i). State if the Filing Party is a director, partner, or sole proprietor of any company. If so, click “Add Company Details” to add the details of any such companies, and proceed to Fig 12c(ii).
If the Filing Party does not hold any directorship, partnership, or sole proprietorship, skip ahead to Fig 12c(iii).
Fig 12c(ii). Provide the details of the company that the Filing Party holds the directorship, partnership, or sole proprietorship for. Click “Add” when you are done.
Fig 12c(iii). Provide any additional information about the Filing Party’s lack of employment.
New Maintenance: Income and Family Expenses
Fig 13. If there is an FAA filed in the case file, you may opt to pull the sources of income information from the FAA. This data will automatically populate the fields from Fig 14 to 15.
If multiple FAAs have been filed in the case file, you may specify the appropriate FAA via the Filing Party of the FAA, and its filing date/time.
Fig 14. Click “Add Source of Income” to add a source of income of the Filing Party.
Fig 15. Provide the details of the source of income of the Filing Party. Click “Add” when you are done to add the source of income to the table in Fig 14.
Fig 16. If there is an FAA filed in the case file, you may opt to pull the personal expenses information from the FAA. This data will automatically populate the fields from Fig 17 to 19b.
If multiple FAAs have been filed in the case file, you may specify the appropriate FAA via the Filing Party of the FAA, and its filing date/time.
If there is an expense that does not fit in any of the provided categories, click “Add Personal Expense” to add a new category of expenses to the table, and proceed to Fig 18.
For the category “Financial provision”, refer to Fig 19.
Fig 18. Enter the details of the expense. Click “Update” when you are done to update the corresponding entry in the table.
If adding a new personal expense, the “Update” button will be replaced with “Add”. Click it when you are done to add a new row with that expense to the table in Fig 18.
Fig 19. For the category “Financial provision”, you will be required to name the person that is receiving the financial provision. Click “Update” when you are done.
Fig 19a. A new table will appear below the original table shown in Fig 17. This table must be completed so long as an entry for “Financial provision” is made within the personal expenses table. Click “Add Financial Provision” to provide additional details about the provision.
Fig 19b. Provide the stated details for the financial provision. Click “Add” when you are done to add the provision to the table shown in Fig 19a.
(Note: Figs 20 – 21a are applicable only if there was an entry under “Payment of debts” in the “Personal Expenses” section. If not, skip ahead to Fig 22.)
Fig 20. If there is an FAA filed in the case file, you may opt to pull the debts information from the FAA. This data will automatically populate the fields from Figs 21 ‒ 21a.

Fig 21. Click “Add Debts” to provide additional details about the debts. This table must be completed so long as an entry for “Payment of debts” is made within the personal expenses table.

If adding a new children expense, the “Update” button will be replaced with “Add”. Click it when you are done to add a new row with that expense to the table in Fig 23.
Reason(s) for Seeking Interim Maintenance
Fig 24. For the Filing Party, select the most appropriate statements from the provided statements.
When contradictory selections are made, the system will prioritise the most recent selection. For example, if you choose both “[Filing Party] pays for all expenses for himself/herself” and “[Filing Party] pays for certain expenses for himself/herself”, the earlier selection will be automatically cleared.
If the “the child(ren)” statement is selected in either nested statement, proceed to Fig 24a.
If “[Filing Party] pays for certain expenses for” is selected, proceed to Fig 24b.
Fig 24a. For each “the child(ren)” statement selected, provide the child’s name.
You may click “Add Child(ren)” to add another text box for another child’s name.
Fig 24b. Click “Add Expenses Details” to add the details of the partial expense for the family. Refer to Fig 24b(i).

Note: The following figures ‒ Fig 28a to 28d ‒ are only applicable for incapacitated husbands applying for maintenance. If these are not applicable to the current filing party, proceed to Fig 29.

Fig 28c. Provide the details of the most recent medical report(s) explaining details of the incapacity.
Fig 28d. State if the named doctor is licensed to practise in Singapore, and if not, the country that they are licensed to practise in.
Fig 29. Explain if there are any circumstances behind the standard of living enjoyed by the family during the marriage that the filing party would like the Court to consider.

Summary of Claim

If “Others:” is selected, you will be required to provide details of the claim sought. Proceed to Fig 31a.

Affirmation
Fig 32. State if the Filing Party swears to or affirms the document. Provide details of the date and place that this document was sworn / affirmed, especially if the document is to be digitally signed. Indicate if interpretation is required and if the document needs to be read audibly to the deponent.
Exhibits
Fig 33. Enter a prefix for the exhibits supporting this affidavit. The prefix should be the initials of the deponent’s name, e.g. TBH for Tan Beng Huat.

(2) Forms

Fig 38. To initiate the signing process, click the “Confirm” button located at the bottom of both eForms.
Fig 38a. The row of the eForm will be updated with new buttons.
Click the “Finalise Document” button to start the signing process. The “Finalise Document” button will only be enabled after all eForms are confirmed and all documents to be uploaded in Step 2 have been uploaded.
Fig 38b. The row of the eForm will be updated with new buttons if the document requires a signature. You may choose either digital signing or offline signing.
You will be taken to the Document Signing Service (“DSS”) portal.
Please refer to "eLitigation FAQ > Document Signing Service (DSS) Guide for eLitigation Users > How do I request signatures with DSS?" for a step-by-step guide on how to sign your documents with DSS.
DSS will pre-populate the list of signers based on the details in the Case Information section. Do check that the list of signers is correct before proceeding. You can add or remove the signers, if necessary.
The eForm in Step 2 will automatically be made available in DSS for online signing.
Fig 38c. A new row will be displayed.
Upon successfully completing the signing procedure (regardless of which method was chosen) or if none of the documents require a signature, the “Next” button should be enabled. Click on the “Next” button to proceed to Step 3: Admin Details.
(3) Admin Details
Fig 39. In Step 3: Admin Details, indicate any urgent processing, special request or waiver required. You can also opt to eServe the documents to another law firm.
(4) Submission
Fig 40. In Step 4: Submission, review all information and documents before submission. Upon acceptance / approval by Court, the documents will be sent to your eLitigation inbox.
Fig 6b. Click “Choose File” to select the file from the browser dialog box. Click the icon to upload the document. Provide information regarding the “Other document” in the text box.
Fig 17. Declare the amount spent on expenses for the family for each category. Click on the icon to add the amount to the table.
Fig 23. Click the icon to provide details of the children expenses.
If any of the listed document is not applicable, click on the button to delete that row.
If there is a document which is applicable, but you are unable to provide at the time of filing, click on the button to delete that row. You will be required to explain the reasons for the lack of documents in Table 2, as shown in Fig 35.
Fig 34b. The line entries for exhibits will generate based on the deponent’s input on the number of documents to add. Indicate the title of the document and the paragraph reference to the affidavit (using the preview of the generated affidavit). The deponent will be required to upload a file for each document listed in the table. Click “Choose File” to open a browser dialog box to select a file, and click the icon to upload the document.
Fig 35b. Indicate the name of document not provided and the reasons for lack of document, or details of alternative document provided. If you are unable to provide any details or wish to delete any line entry, click on the button to delete the document’s row.
Fig 36. Click on the icon to view the eForm. The eForm will be generated based on the details provided in the Case Information section. If you would like to file other supporting documents to the case, click “Add Document”.
To change the information in the generated form, click “Previous” to return to the Case Information section and amend the information first. Then click the button in Step 2 to generate a new form with the updated details. Then click the “Confirm” button located at the bottom of the eForm.
To start digital signing, click the button.
To start offline signing, click the button to download the document and proceed to Fig 38c.
• You will no longer be able to make changes to the data in the form. If you wish to make changes to the data, click the “Cancel Finalised Document” button. All previously signed documents will be removed from Step 2. Return to Step 1 to make changes to the data and then return to Step 2 and click to regenerate the eForms based on the updated data. You will be required to confirm all the eForms again to activate the “Finalise Documents” button again.
• If you wish to retract the offline signing, click on the icon.
• Click the button to upload the manually signed copy.
